Although there has been a re-emergence of vinyl in recent years, the vast majority of people with a vinyl collection will still play music on CDs or on their computer on a regular basis. There are many great benefits about vinyl records, with the sound quality being a major factor as opposed to the compressed digital sounds on CD or download - but for ease of use, CDs win out.

The changing ways that music is presented to people allows for greater accessibility but it can mean that older formats become obsolete. This can sometimes means that parts of your music collection is unlistenable or gets left behind.
