Science geeks can be challenging to get presents for. Although they may need socks, underwear and maybe sweaters, they will find such gifts mundane and boring. If you have a science geek in your life, you will need to be more creative with your gift giving. Here are some ideas.

Books. Every science geek loves to read. Get books that have been written by geeks themselves. There are hundreds of choices of books that would make your geek happy. It is a really cool gift for the science geek in your life.
The gift of microbes. These are plush toys in the form of giant-sized microbes having a tag attached detailing interesting facts about the disease. You can give your geek E-coli or some other dreaded disease.
